25 October 2010 – PotD

This is the downpour that I drove through on the way home from Winton. This is the heaviest rain I have ever driven in. Visibility was appalling. This was about 90kms North of Longreach.

24 October 2010 – PotD

Driving home from Winton to Longreach. In the distance is a huge downpour. It was not raining in Winton or Longreach on this day. It rained heavily in between.

This is the road out to the property I drove out to the other day on a home visit. 4 cattle grids and plenty of dirt road.

This is the road out to the property that I went on a home visit too. It was pretty barren once we passed through Winton. This is about 70kms North West of Winton.

This is Sally and I. Sally is a vegan genius. She regularly saves my life with amazing food and company. Sally was responsible for the Nori rolls. Madge is Sally’s dog.

This is me on the plane to Brisbane from Longreach. I have spent a lot of time on this plane in 2010.

This is the land between Longreach and Barcaldine.

This is about 40 minutes out from Brisbane.
